Suspicious Fish

These fine people were instrumental (oy!) in the making of Suspicious Fish. Love them with all you've got.

Kay Ashley (Keyboards, SBCE)
Another Elizabeth Records artist, Kay played the keyboard parts on the record. She’s also responsible for most of the kazoo and the shocking opera voice on “Grandma”. Her album will be out soon and it will not have any of this type of vocal work on it.

Rich Boniface (Vocals, SBCE)
Rich is in Elizabeth Records’ own CC Railroad. He’s responsible for the really really low parts. And tending the rabbits. He also brings the whiskey on most occasions. He deserves praise for this.

Meg Braun (SBCE)
Meg writes and plays her own material in and around New York City. She’s originally from Ohio but left because of the state’s peculiar shape. She is unaware that New York is even weirder. Let’s not talk about Maryland.

David Braun (SBCE)
Meg’s dad. You can ask Meg about him. She’ll usually talk about it.

Tom Choi (Recording)
Tom is one fine and fancy engineer. He plies his trade at Realm Studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where people dress in colonial garb and reenact life as it was in 18th century America. No, wait, that’s Virginia.

Ryder Daniels (Vocals)
Another member of CC Railroad. If you hear a male vocal that isn’t really really low, it’s Ryder. He’s got a baby daughter. She’s cute. But she doesn’t play guitar nearly as well as Ryder does.

Andy Fox & Denise O’Brien (Mixing and Mastering)
Andy & Denise perform together under the name “Andy & Denise”. When people ask why, they tell them that their real names are not interesting enough.

Jon Kolleeny (Electric Guitar)
Jon is the guitar player for NYC band His Boy Elroy. You can catch them regularly at Groove Café in Greenwich Village. He claims he’s never heard of “The Jetsons”. We almost believe him.

Elizabeth Robinson (SBCE)
We call her Kizzy. She does a one-woman show called Susanna Shakespeare. It’s supposed to be good for you. She’s also a cabaret performer. She’s got a dog named Emily that almost never drools on me.

Maria Rossi (SBCE)
She came with Jon. Although she has an Italian name, she swears she’s Scottish. Personally, I think the accent’s a put-on. But hey, what do I know?

Matt Scharfglass (Upright Bass)
In addition to his sparkling bass work, Matt plays guitar and writes tunes for Mrs. Grundy, a fine musical ensemble from NYC. Matt also arranges and edits sheet music for Guitar World magazine. This ties in well with his popular Tarot readings.

The Short Bus Chidren's Ensemble (Cacophony)
Those kids sure got a lotta spunk.

Carolann Solebello (Vocals, SBCE, Vocal Production)
If you’re on this website, you know who this lady is. She’s in CC Railroad, she’s in Red Molly and she does her solo thing. She sings real purty. And she’s awful good-lookin’ too.

Dan Weiss (Drums)
Dan’s the drummer in The Right Bastards, a band I happen to like a lot. Go to their website for fun stuff and tunes. He’s from Long Island. Do not hold this against him. Dan wishes hockey would come back. But it won’t.

Scott L. Wolfson (Graphic Design)
Scott previously designed Mark’s live CD Shut Up So I Can Play as well as the Right Bastards CD Nobody Likes You. He does lots of other neat stuff too like websites. Go to Original Brain and see what all the fuss is about.
